Historic theatre in Milan under Leo Wachter guide becomes the centre of the alternative theatrical scene and the centre of the national comedy, in the years it fought many battles to prevent the closure. Gianmario Longoni purchases Teatro Ciak in 2002 with the aim to continue the vocation of its founder. Despite eviction from the historical location in via Sangallo in Milan, Longoni was able to preserve the soul of the theatre, moving it in 2006 at Fabbrica del Vapore and in 2013 in Piazzale Cuoco. Today’s location is a modernized and contemporary Ciak. It is a space of 3000 seats that hosts unique shows, musical, big concerts and events. A theatre dedicated to the city, a pole of culture and fun to give again strength to an area that in the past had already host international shows and great stars of music and entertainment. ciakmilano.it – TeatroCiak

Not to mention main characters of the Italian show business who debuted here or were definitely consecrated: Marcello Mastroianni, Renato Rascel, Delia Scala, Carlo Dapporto, Aldo Fabrizi, Walter Chiari, Gino Bramieri, Johnny Dorelli, Paolo Panelli, Bice Valori, Enrico Montesano, Gigi Proietti, Enrico Maria Salerno, Gloria Guida, Mariangela Melato, and the most recent Sabrina Ferilli,Valerio Mastandrea, Massimo Ghini.
